Rebecca Trylch is the anchor of ABC12 News Saturday and Sunday at 6 and 11 p.m.
ABC12 Anchor/Reporter/Producer Rebecca Trylch is a Mid-Michigan native who's happy to be home living close to her family.
Rebecca grew up in Hope, a small town in Midland County, where she attended Meridian Public Schools.
She got her start in broadcasting in the fifth grade when she was selected to take part in a video production program at Midland Community Television.
From there, Rebecca moved on to Central Michigan University, where she earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts and a Master of Arts degree in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts. During her time at CMU, Rebecca worked on the student newscast, News Central 34.
Rebecca also spent some time at The Midland Daily News and interned at 9 & 10 News in Cadillac.
After graduating from college, Rebecca moved to Bemidji, Minn., where she worked as a reporter and anchor for just over a year.
Not one to stray far, Rebecca made the move back to Mid-Michigan and to ABC12.
Rebecca, her husband and their son Maxwell, now live in Birch Run.
