A slow-moving low pressure system will bring us some much-needed rain today and into the weekend. There is a chance for severe weather so stay aware through the day.
Today's highs will reach the low 80s with scattered showers and storms developing in the afternoon. Severe storms are possible through the late-night, with wind gusts to 60mph and large hail being our main threats.
Scattered showers and storms then continue overnight and through the day tomorrow. Lows tonight will be in the upper 60s with highs both Saturday and Sunday near 80. Rainfall totals for most look to be around 3/4-1" along 127 and closer to the Tri-Cities and Flint. Further east in the thumb and north of the bay we look to see less, closer to 1/4-3/4" of rain.
Sunshine and mid 80s return next week!
