MICHIGAN (WJRT) - (04-16-18) - Consumers Energy is reporting more than 300 power outages affecting more than 8,000 customers. They come as Michigan copes with a winter storm.
The Consumers Energy outage map Monday morning shows several of the counties in the dark are in Southern Michigan. About 1,100 customers in Ingham County were without power as of 9:15. And Emmet County shows about 1,600 affected customers.
Consumers Energy says some of the outages started Sunday. The estimated times for restoration Monday vary from a few to several hours.
