MICHIGAN (WJRT) - (10/09/17) - Another 80,000 Michigan residents have been added to the more than 4 million people affected in the state by the enormous Equifax data breach.
Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette says the fallout from this breach continues to grow and his consumer protection team is diligently working to make sure Michigan residents know what to monitor as they move forward.
If you've checked your status through the Equifax website prior to October 8, he says it's important to check again to make sure your status has not changed.
