Back to the Bricks Tune-Up Week begins in Davison

DAVISON (WJRT) - (08/07/17) - Well it may feel like summer is coming to a close, things are just starting to heat up for this year's Back to the Bricks classic car show.

Car enthusiasts are already gearing up for next week's the big show with a Tune Up. All week long, there will be parties going on all across Genesee County.

There'll be different themed parties from the ‘50s, ‘60s, ‘70s - all the oldies you know and love.

There of course will also be live music, dancing in the streets, concessions - all that good stuff.

A couple things to mention ahead of next week's show - opening ceremonies have a new home. The ribbon cutting will now take place on the grounds of the Applewood Estate - it will not be at the old Fischer Body plant.

Another change - Thursday night's rolling car cruise will now include a food truck rally and festival. That'll be held in the Grand Blanc High School parking lot, right along the cruise route.

The biggest change of all - the Friday night Cruising Concert is relocating from the IINN building over to the parking lot of the Dort Federal Event Center. The move will allow for more cars.
