BAY COUNTY (WJRT) (1/12/2018) - A wintertime spectacle is back in a Bay County front yard.
Jere Brunette made a 20-foot tower of ice in the front yard of his residence on Pine Street in Essexville.
He's been making the ice fountain for about 20 years, but took the last two winters off because temperatures weren't cold enough for long enough.
Brunette has a hose and special spraying equipment to help him produce the icy obelisk. Its shape and design change every year based on the wind and weather pattern.
This week's warmer weather shrunk the tower by a few feet, but Brunette expects it will return to its full height again soon with more cold weather in the forecast.
