DAVISON (WJRT) (4/13/2018) - A Burton man was arraigned Friday on two felony terrorism charges related to threats made against Davison Community Schools staff members this week.

James Rigdon, 37, is facing charges of making a threat of terrorism and using an electronic device to make a threat or terrorism. He remained in the Genesee County Jail after arraignment on $100,000 bond for each count.

Rigdon is accused of making threats against administrators at Davison schools on Tuesday. Davison Middle School and Hahn Intermediate School went into secure mode after administrators became aware of the threats.

The superintendent called Rigdon's messages "very aggressive, threatening and intimidating."

Rigdon was arrested soon after the threats were located. He faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
