CLARE COUNTY (WJRT) - (02/20/18) - Countless problems are surfacing due to rain, flooding and ice melt as rain continues to fall across mid-Michigan.

Tuesday evening, Clare County Emergency Management announces they're seeking a state of emergency declaration because of immediate concern for public safety and property.

At this point, we're told no evacuations have been ordered, but county officials are watching it all very closely.

The Harrison school district also made the call late Tuesday to cancel class on Wednesday, keeping students home and off the roads.
