FLINT (WJRT) - (08/25/16) - Anticipation continues to build for this weekend's Crim Festival of Races.
The Expo opened at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Riverfront Banquet Center in downtown Flint.
Kettering University students worked hard to transform the University Corridor near Atwood Stadium into an all-out tailgate and cheering zone for Saturday's 10 mile race.
There should be plenty of traffic coming their way, especially with Powers and Flushing opening the high school football season at Atwood.
That's just adding to what should be a very exciting evening surrounding the fortieth Crim.
"Everybody's picking up their race packets today and just getting ready. The excitement is really getting going. We're honoring our 30 and 40 year club tonight and everybody is getting really amped up,” said Theresa Roach, outreach manager for the Crim Fitness Foundation.
