GRAND BLANC (WJRT) (11/13/2017) - Nine years after the Buick Open left Warwick Hills Country Club in Grand Blanc, McLaren Healthcare was revealed as presenting sponsor bringing professional golf back to Mid-Michigan.

The Ally Challenge will bring 78 professional golfers from the PGA Champions Tour to Warwick Hills for a 54-hole tournament with a $2 million purse on Sept. 10 to 12. McLaren has signed a three-year contract to sponsor the event.

"Any time we can bring something back that's had such a profound impact on the community like the Buick Open, or in this case, the Ally Open now, really excited to be a part of it, and I think you can see the vibrations that are going through the community on this," said McLaren CEO Phillip Incarnati.

The Ally Challenge will be one of the regular season events on the PGA Champions Tour. Proceeds from the event will benefit one or more nonprofit organizations in the Flint area.

Tickets are now available to purchase online. See the Related Links section on this page for a link.
