BURTON (WJRT) - (11/7/17) - Whether it's games, groceries, gadgets or gizmos, Meijer is hoping to bring their store to your front door this holiday season with their home delivery service.
"A family or a mother can just go onto the Shipt app and be able to buy the groceries, buy the holiday toys and seasonal items right from the app and deliver it to their home," said Burton Store Manager Charles Hendricks.
Meijer recently rolled out their home delivery service for groceries; now the retailer is expanding to include toys, wrapping paper and Christmas decorations.
"I really think the time starved people will be able to take advantage of that. But whoever needs time back in their day is really going to utilize this and find it as a win," he said.
Shoppers looking to use Meijer's home deliver service will have to pay $99 a year. Because Meijer is 24 hours, customers will be able to choose a delivery time most convenient for them.
