LANSING (WJRT) - (01-10-18) - The state just launched a new accountability system for Michigan schools.
It's called the "Parent Dashboard for School Transparency." The state says it's designed to give parents a complete picture of how local schools are serving children.
Users are able to see how schools performed on state tests. It also includes numbers on attendance and graduation rates, advanced coursework, college enrollment, student-to-staff ratios, and more.
The state says it will update the dashboard based on user feedback. It also plans to add more information down the line. To visit the dashboard, click on 'Related Links' next to this story.
