Mid-Michigan donation drive for UP flood victims

MOUNT PLEASANT (WJRT) - (06/25/2018) - As the Upper Peninsula works to rebuild after devastating flash floods, some in mid-Michigan are lending a helping hand.

The Isabella County Sheriff's Office is taking donations to send to Houghton and Menonimee Counties.

Things like fans, dehumidifiers, extension cords and first aid kits are needed. The department is also accepting cash donations.

Drop off is happening Tuesday and Wednesday at Ric's Food Center in Mount Pleasant. Look for the big semi-truck in the parking lot.
