MT. MORRIS TOWNSHIP (WJRT) (10/23/2017) - A truck delivering milk caused a power outage and sent kids home early from a Mid-Michigan elementary school.

It happened just after noon at Pinehurst Early Elementary at 1013 Pinehurst Blvd. in the Mt. Morris Consolidated Schools district.

The truck pulled down a live electrical wire trapping the driver inside. Consumers Energy had to shut off the power in the area to get the driver out.

Students were dismissed early and no one was hurt.
