GENESEE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJRT) - Roadwork will begin on a roadway that has been closed for months.
The Genesee County Road Commission will begin replacement of a large failing culvert which forced the unexpected closure.
Work will begin on Monday, June 26, on Mt. Morris Road between Bray Road and Center Road in Genesee Township.
The road has been closed to traffic since April 10, 2017.
Road Commission is suggesting detour routes using Bray Road, Stanley Road and Genesee Road.
Completion of the project is anticipated to be Friday, July 14. The road will remain closed until the project is complete.
