FLINT, Mich (WJRT) (1/1/2018) - Get ready to witness something that only happens once in a blue moon!

Tonight's moon will appear up to 7% larger than the average full moon. The moon is expected to be at its fullest phase at 9:24 p.m. Scientists say it will be the largest full moon of the year.

The next supermoon will occur on January 31, 2018.
