GRATIOT COUNTY (WJRT) - (06/27/17) - More money is on the way to help a West Michigan company expand into Gratiot County.
The Michigan Strategic Fund approved more than $12 million for the ZFS Ithaca development project.
The family owned and operated business plans to construct a new soybean processing plant and grain shipping facility.
ZFS Ithaca will build on a 435-acre site in the city, creating about 74 jobs.
It's expected to be up in running by early October.
The Ithaca facility would be the second soybean processing plant in the state.
