SAGINAW (WJRT) (11/09/2017) - About 24 hours after the Saginaw Police Department released surveillance footage of a person of interest in a weekend homicide, he was identified.

The man was seen with 21-year-old Brandon Pennywell hours before he was found shot to death inside his car in front of his apartment building in Saginaw.

Pennywell was with the man inside a Mid-Michigan business. Police are referring to the man with Pennywell as a person of interest and no official suspects have been identified in a case.

Saginaw police were interviewing the man on Thursday to determine whether he is connected to Pennywell's death or has any information that might lead to the suspects.

Pennywell's twin brother, Cameron, also was shot to death in Saginaw last year.
