CLIO (WJRT) (11/08/2017) - Police confirmed on Wednesday that they served search warrants and seized items in the ongoing investigation into the I-75 rock throwing death of Kenneth White.

Genesee County Sheriff Robert Pickell confirmed the warrants had been served, but he would not say what was searched or what items had been taken.

Five teenagers from Clio are facing second degree murder charges for allegedly throwing rocks off the Dodge Road overpass onto southbound I-75. One of the rocks crashed through the windshield of a van in which White was riding, killing him.

The teen suspects all remain in police custody while three of them undergo mental competency examinations. They are scheduled to appear in court again on Jan. 11.
