FLINT (WJRT) (9/21/2017) - Motorists traveling from eastbound I-69 to I-75 in Flint will have to find a detour Thursday night.
The Michigan Department of Transportation is closing the ramps from eastbound I-69 to both northbound and southbound I-75 around 8 p.m. so crews can complete pavement repairs.
The ramps won't reopen until around 5 a.m. Friday. The ramps from westbound I-69 to I-75 will remain open.
The posted detour route will take motorists east of the interchange to Hammberburg Road, where they can get off and then get back on westbound I-69.
Crews have been working on I-69 between I-75 and I-475 for several weeks making the roadway smoother and extending the life of the pavement.
