Reward offered for information about 10-year-old's Jan. 1 shooting death

FLINT (WJRT) (1/24/2018) - Crime Stoppers of Flint and Genesee County is offering a $2,500 reward in the homicide case of 10-year-old Jacques Ja'mon Allen.

He was inside his house on Granville Avenue on the north of Flint around 10 p.m. on New Years Day when a gunman opened fire outside. One of the bullets traveled through an exterior wall and hit Allen.

The 10-year-old died the following day.

Crime Stoppers announced the reward Wednesday for information leading police to the suspect in the case.
