Search for 3 missing Michigan brothers continues in Montana

MONTANA (WJRT)- Could a tiny shed...hundreds of miles away from Morenci, Michigan...finally solve a 7 year old mystery...
What happened to the Skelton brothers??

Michigan State Police reached out to authorities in western Montana....
After investigators there recently announced that skeletal remains found in a shed back in September, belonged to three young children, possibly between the ages of 2 to 10 years old.

Tanner, Alexander, and Andrew Skelton were last seen November 26th 2010, at their father John's home in Morenci, near the Michigan-Ohio border. They were 5, 7, and 9 years old at the time of their disappearance.

Police have spent years - following up on tips on the boys whereabouts...even creating age progression photos last year - showing what they could look like years later.
However, police say during their search - they never came across any information that would lead them to Montana...

But skeletal remains of three children -- found in a shed there--
Certainly makes for the strongest lead to date in the case.
