FLINT TOWNSHIP (WJRT) (10/18/2017) - For the second time in three weeks, a Carman-Ainsworth student has reported unwanted contact with a stranger.

The student reported two men in a red pickup truck approached and started asking questions around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Court Street and Yorktown Drive.

Carman-Ainsworth Superintendent Eddie Kindle wrote in a letter to parents that the strangers followed the student, who ran home and went inside, then started pounding on the door.

The Flint Township Police Department has been contacted and is investigating the incident.

Tuesday's report follows a similar stranger interaction reported in the morning of Oct. 2. A car pulled up to a bus stop near Mandeville and Phillips streets and the driver offered to take the student to school.

"It is unfortunate that these incidents take place and we must take them seriously," Kindle wrote. "We will continue to monitor this incident. We have made building administrators, district staff and bus drivers aware of the situation."
