CORUNNA (WJRT) (12/15/2017) - The second of two Grand Rapids brothers convicted of killing two Flint men in a Craigslist deal gone wrong was sentenced to life in prison.

Anthony Holloway was convicted with his brother, Otis Smith Jr., of killing Flint residents Joseph Carson and Tony Hammond in the parking lot of the Walmart in Owosso.

A Shiawassee County jury decided Smith shot both Flint men while Holloway looked on during a botched medical marijuana robbery inside a car at the store. During Holloway's sentencing Friday, Judge Matthew Stewart said Holloway was just as much at fault for the incident even though he didn't pull the trigger.

Holloway received the mandatory sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole based on his conviction of first-degree murder.
