State police warn of identity theft in West Branch

(01/10/17) - State police are warning of an identity theft incident in West Branch.

Surveillance shows a woman using a stolen driver’s license to cash checks.

Some of the checks were written for more than $2,000.

Police say she has gotten away with similar thefts in Crawford County and has tried in Ogemaw and Roscommon counties as well.

The woman has blonde hair and smokes cigarettes. She is driving a black late model Dodge Charger.
