SAGINAW COUNTY (WJRT) - (12/1/2017) - The final stage of this summer's reconstruction project on I-75 in Saginaw County will lead to some temporary lane closures on Friday.
Crews will be removing temporary pavement markings and installing permanent markings between the Saginaw Road interchange at Exit 160 and the north junction of I-675.
The Michigan Department of Transportation said the work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. could reduce southbound I-75 to a single lane for short periods of time.
The construction is part of a project to reconstruct a one-mile stretch of the interstate. Workers plan to open I-75 south to three lanes of traffic by Saturday afternoon.
