(WJRT) - (05/30/17) - Crime Stoppers is hoping some new attention will help crack a cold case from 1989.
Phillip Leonard Rivette was murdered sometime between April 18 and May 4 that year.
The 35 year old Flint resident was a window salesman and his business meeting on April 18 would prove to be his last. That was the last day anyone saw him alive.
Rivette's body was found in the trunk of a Pontiac Bonneville at a rest area along north bound I-75 near Bridgeport.
He had been shot several times.
