FLINT (WJRT) - (12/09/17) - The University of Michigan-Flint opened the ice rink at University Pavilion on Saturday.
This is the third season for the rink in downtown Flint. It reopened in 2015 after a long absence.

"It brings community people and students out. There are some parties here people will have fundraisers. today will have soup and mashed potato bar and we just invite everyone to come on down," Borrego said.
Weather permitting, the University Pavilion Ice Rink will be open Wednesdays from 6-9 p.m., Saturdays from 5-9 p.m., and on weekends from 12-4 p.m. UM-Flint hopes to keep it open until the end of March.
