ISABELLA COUNTY (WJRT) (12/19/2017) - An Isabella County man allegedly was drunk when he crashed into a semi trailer parked in the driveway of a sawmill Monday evening.

Kristopher Antcliff, 46, of Weidman was driving north on Littlefield Road when he missed a stop sign at Weidman Road in Isabella Township around 8:35 p.m., according to the Isabella County Sheriff's Office.

Antcliff's 2011 Chevrolet Malibu continued north onto the property of Maeder Bros. Sawmill, where a 2015 Peterbilt semi truck towing a flatbed trailer was parked 100 yards off the roadway. The Malibu slammed into the trailer and got wedged partially underneath.

Antcliff suffered serious chest and hip injuries in the crash. The semi driver, who was sleeping in the cab while waiting for the sawmill to reopen Tuesday, did not report any injuries.

Police say alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash and Antcliff wasn't wearing a seat belt.
