FLINT (WJRT) (10/30/2017) - A woman was stuffed in the trunk of a car that hit a house on Flint's south side Sunday evening.

The Flint Police Department says the driver and his girlfriend got into an argument Sunday evening, which turned physical. It ended with the boyfriend forcing her into the trunk of a Dodge sedan.

He then started driving around with her in the trunk. A short time later, the boyfriend crashed into a white house near the intersection of Barrie and Tuxedo avenues by Lincoln Park around 7:30 p.m., police said.

The car came to rest half inside and half outside the house. The driver ran away from the scene on foot before police arrived and was still on the loose Monday morning.

The homeowner said he was watching a football game on TV when he heard what sounded like an explosion. That's when they found the car partially inside the home.

Police did not comment on the extent of the woman's injuries. Her identity had not been released Monday.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call the Flint Police Department.
