Fenton students sell Valentines to raise money for water filters

FENTON (WJRT) - (02/29/16) - After studying the Flint Water Crisis, Tomek-Eastern Elementary First Graders wanted find a solution to the problem and help Flint.

The class raised over 300-dollars in three days by selling Valentine Grams to everyone at Tomek-Eastern school.

The money will be donated to Crossing Water Organization for water filters.

The class teacher, Jennifer Horton said it was the students who decided to give the money to the organization.
