DETROIT (AP) - The game between the Cleveland Indians and Detroit Tigers has been postponed because of bad weather. The Tigers said the Central division rivals' first meeting of the season will be rescheduled. Snowfall from an overnight storm was sticking to the grass in the area.

(AP) - Michigan State forward Branden Dawson is staying for his senior season. He averaged a career-high 11.2 points last season. The 6-foot-6 forward scored a career-high 26 points in an NCAA tournament win over Harvard.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) - The NBA Development League's Springfield Armor is relocating from Massachusetts to Grand Rapids. The team will be affiliated with the Detroit Pistons and begin play with the 2014-15 season at the 5,000-seat DeltaPlex Arena. The Armor spent five seasons in Springfield. It will be one of 18 D-League teams in the upcoming season.

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (AP) - Stan Cooke shot a 7-under 65 in windy conditions yesterday to take the first-round lead in the Senior PGA Professional National Championship. Cooke played the last 10 holes in 7 under on PGA Golf Club's Wanamaker Course. Frank Esposito and Rob Gibbons were two strokes back at 67.
