Before moving to Flint, Candace reported in Lansing at WLNS. She also worked in Northern Michigan
at WBKB, where she juggled close to every job at the station, anchoring, reporting and producing newscasts.

She has won an Associate Press award for hard news, and was recently nominated for an Emmy.
Candace's enjoys reporting breaking news, but her favorite stories are the ones that shine
the spotlight on good people who make positive impacts on their community.
She is a graduate of Wichita State University, where she was a scholarship athlete on the
Shocker Women's Basketball Team. She earned a degree in broadcast journalism from the university.
