In his 10 years at ABC12, Greg has covered just about every sport in the state of Michigan.
He has reported on hundreds of local high school games and followed numerous teams on the road to state championships.
He has also been on the scene and reported live on the University of Michigan football team's national championship in 1998 and Michigan State University basketball.
Someday, he hopes to able to cover the Lions winning a Super Bowl.
Greg began his sportscasting career at WPBN-TV in Traverse City, Mich., where he worked for three years. He then moved on to KXXV-TV in Waco, Texas for one year before arriving at ABC12 in 1995 as a sports reporter and weekend sports anchor.
Greg has also written for the Oakland Press and Ann Arbor News, has had his reports aired on ESPN, and is a frequent guest on sports talk radio.
Greg grew up in Clarkston, Mich., and attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
After graduating in 1988 with a degree in Sports Management and Communications, he continued his education at Syracuse University in New York and received his Master's Degree in broadcast journalism from the prestigious Newhouse School of Public Communications.
Greg and his wife Kristin live in Grand Blanc with their two children, Andy and Gillian. They spend a lot of time at the ice rink and on sports fields across Genesee County.
