John McMurray - ABC 12 – WJRT – Flint, MI

John previously anchored the weather at ABC12 News from 1969 to 1975. He is also heard as the weather voice on WJR Radio in Detroit.

John and his wife, Mary Ellen, live in Grand Blanc. They have three children and six grandchildren. In his free time, John enjoys sailing and skiing.

John was in the U.S. Air Force working as a flight meteorologist. He was also the president of Commercial Weather Services.

Professional Associations: American Meteorological Society; Saginaw Bay Yacht Club. Earned his American Meteorological Association Seal of Approval as a broadcast forecaster in 1972.
