ABC12 Wins Big at the 33rd Michigan Emmy Awards

(05/14/11) -- It was a big night for ABC12 at the 33rd annual Michigan Emmy Awards Show.

Christopher Harris and Special Projects Producer Mark McGlashen won the Emmy for "Safety in Place of Worship."

Christopher Harris, along with recently retired audio engineer Bill Samples, took home Emmy gold for their production of the 2010 Pops Concert.

Angie Hendershot, photojournalist Christopher Carr and ABC12 News Director Jayne Hodak each received an Emmy for the work on their special "Who Failed Dominick?"

Ryan Slocum took home the Emmy for "Best On-Camera Sports Reporter."

Congratulations also go out to creative services producer Phil Kraphol and graphic artist Adam Kelly.
