MIDLAND COUNTY (WJRT) -

(10/27/11) - The body of a Detroit man was found in the front yard of a home, but investigators are still not sure how he died or what he was doing in Midland County.

It was shortly before 8 Thursday morning that police were told that a body was lying in front of the home on Yoder Drive, just off of Poseyville Road in Ingersoll Township.

Investigators are saying very little about the suspicious death.

To add to this mystery, the results of the autopsy done on the man, believed to be in his mid-30s, are inconclusive.

"See that happens in Detroit, not Midland, its crazy," said Ricky Zablocki, who lives in the neighborhood where the body was found.

Investigators say there was no evidence of foul play, but Midland County Sheriff's Department personnel did take three people to the law enforcement center in Midland for questioning.

The body was found in the yard of that home, just several hours after the Midland County Sheriff's Department was at that home on a loud noise complaint.

"Drinking maybe, drinking, party, yeah," Zablocki said.

He saw the commotion Wednesday night, but didn't expect to see what he saw a few hours later.

"Cops come out here all the time, but not like that, no bodies, that's just crazy," Zablocki said.

Investigators are not saying what the man from Detroit was doing in Midland County, or if he knew the people who lived at the home where his body was found.

"It's scary to think that we live in this type of area," said Jennifer Jackson. She lives in the neighborhood and is getting worried because of all the visits by police down her block. "There are too many cops as far as I'm concerned over here all the time, whether it's due to drugs, I don't know, I don't know what it is," Jackson said.

Investigators will now wait for toxicology reports in hopes of finding out how the man died. he has still has not been identified.
