ABC 12 – WJRT – Flint, MIFrankenmuth honors Veterans

(11/10/11) - It was a special Veterans Day for so many across the country and here at home. Communities honored their armed forces in many ways throughout the day.
Frankenmuth hosted a dinner to pay tribute to their military service past and present.
Special guest speaker Peter Lemon, a medal of honor recipient from the Vietnam War shared his story of survival. Lemon is the only living medal of honor reciepient from Michigan who fought in Vietnam.
Proceeds benefit the Michigan's Own Military and Space Museum. Gov. Rick Snyder and Sen. Debbie Stabenaw also in attendance.
