(02/09/12) - If you watch ABC12 news This Morning, you've probably seen our mug shot segment.
It features local events and businesses and many times features a coffee mug.
After they're on the air, many of those mugs go to Lacure Elementary School in Clio.
The students then turn them into "Mugs of Love." They are filled with personal care items and given out on Valentine's Day to clients of the Carriage Town Ministries.
Thursday, the students presented the 530 care packages they put together.
And new this year, 57 will also be sent to the VA hospital in Saginaw.
Congratulations to the students at Lacure for all their hard work.
