(02/21/12) - Hurley Medical Center received a $100,000 boost Tuesday for its new Paul F. Reinhart Emergency Trauma Center.
The money was raised by the Hurley Medical Center Auxiliary, a group of 150 people who volunteer their time at the hospital.
A celebration was held Tuesday at the Bethel United Methodist Church in Flint.
The auxiliary, which is celebrating its 56th birthday, also took time Tuesday to honor its members who have donated 10,000 hours of service.
A ribbon cutting celebration for the new Emergency Trauma Center will be held Friday.
