FLUSHING (WJRT) -
(02/22/12) - Black ice led to a crash involving a Michigan State Police trooper around 1 a.m. Wednesday on Potter near Elms Road in Flushing Township.
ABC12 was told the trooper was headed to help another state police car involved in a chase when he slid off the road and crashed into a tower supporting high voltage power lines.
The patrol car was damaged, but the trooper is OK.
