(02/22/12) - There seems to be no clear GOP leader among Michigan Republicans.
An exclusive ABC12/EPIC-MRA poll out on Wednesday shows Rick Santorum with a three-point lead over Mitt Romney among likely primary voters.
Wednesday's Presidential debate in Arizona could shift the race.
ABC12 watched the debate with local political analysis Paul Rozycki.
Nearly 30 minutes into the debate, the talk turned to the auto bailout.
All four GOP presidential candidates said they opposed it with most believing the government should not bailout any industry.
"One surprise that I saw was how harshly nearly all the candidates were on unions. They went out of their way to take shots at unions in general and the UAW in particular," Rozycki said.
Rick sanctorum came into the debate hot and with a lead over Romney in many polls.
"On one hand, Santorum did pretty well in tonight's debate. On the other hand though, Romney has still got an enormous advantage in money and organization in Michigan. So that is going to weigh an awful lot. I am sure we are going to see an avalanche of pro-Romney ads coming down the pike in the next couple of days ," Rozycki said.
