(05/21/12) - Flint's MTA is scheduled to put its first hydrogen cell fuel bus into service by the end of the month.
This will make Flint the only city in the Midwest to have a hydrogen cell powered vehicle.
Using hydrogen as fuel will help the MTA cut fuel costs and is more environmentally friendly.
Kettering University professors and students will work with the MTA to train staff and the public.
The bus will be housed and maintained at the MTA's Alternative Fueling Station in Grand Blanc Township.
