(06/12/12) - Former Detroit Lion Charles Rogers is now in jail and will be sent to a treatment facility.
A bench warrant was issued last week for Rogers after he failed to appear at a court hearing in Saginaw.
Tuesday morning, Rogers made it to court on his own.
The 31-year-old faces a number of charges, including threatening his mother.
Tuesday, District Court Judge A-T Frank ordered Rogers held in jail until he can be sent to a treatment facility.
The former Saginaw High and Michigan State standout tested positive for drugs before a previous court hearing.
Rogers was the number two pick in the 2003 NFL Draft, but his career was cut short by injuries and subsequent marijuana use.
