(07/05/12) - Thursday's storms caused some headaches for Mid-Michigan drivers.
Power was knocked out at a pumping station early Thursday morning near Bristol Road and I-475.
That caused water to back up onto the expressway underneath Hemphill Road.
Some drivers got stuck trying to get through the flooded area.
Police had to close 475 in both directions for several hours until the water receded.
