MID-MICHIGAN (WJRT) -

(07/05/12) - There was damage across Mid-Michigan from Thursday morning's storms.

Power outages plagued the area, with Genesee County appearing to be the worst hit in the state.

Many people were cleaning up following the storms Thursday morning.

In this case of Denise Barbee and Xavier Brown, a tree fell on not just their house, but on three cars as well.

They say they're not sure what they're going to do next, but they're open to ideas.

There was also quite a bit of storm damage in Saginaw County - in the Chesaning area.

Thursday's storms were the second time that area has been hit hard by wild weather.

Of course, one of the biggest problems with the clean-up Thursday, especially for those without power, is that it's so hot.

We are under an excessive heat warning until Friday.
