
(07/12/12) - Technology is everywhere these days, especially in new cars and trucks.
Now, one Mid-Michigan dealership is offering a new resource for those who may be technology challenged.
The Al Serra Auto Group calls it the "Answer Team" - or A Team.
It's a group of consultants who go to the customer or answer phone calls - about anything from the navigation system to the Bluetooth functions.
The consultants say the service has been available for about a week, and they are already getting calls.
"So a lot of times we find that they know how to work it when they leave here, but a lot of times they get home and they forgot it all, so that's where we come in. They can call our number. They can go on our website and look at videos and how to videos and things like that, but also they can schedule appointments with us for us to come out and kind of reteach them," said Tony Gazetti, A Team consultant.
The service is free and applies to any vehicle brand sold by Al Serra.
