Project underway to make Bay City shine - ABC 12 – WJRT – Flint, MI

(07/12/12) - Bay City is part of a new project that aims to highlight and support the best parts about the city.

The Michigan Association of Planning is working with Bay City over the next year to study the community's assets.

Thursday evening, they held a meeting to see what the public likes best about the city.

Next, they'll try to figure out how to connect those assets and make them even better.

The information and input they receive from the community will help with future projects and Bay City's overall master plan.

Bay City leaders say they think the interest from groups outside the city will help them look more at the big picture issues.

This project is funded by the CS Mott Foundation and the Michigan State Housing Development Authority.
