2 Mid-Michigan pedestrians die after being hit by cars

MIDLAND COUNTY (WJRT) -

(07/16/12) - Two Mid-Michigan pedestrians died Sunday when they were hit by cars.

A Midland county man was hit by two cars while crossing the street.

25-year-old Mark Odell of Sanford, was hit around 1 a.m. on M-20, near Greendale Road in Midland County.

Odell was hit once by a car heading east on M-20, and a second time as he laid in the road.

The accident is under investigation. Alcohol or drug use is not suspected by either of the drivers.

The second happened just before 5 a.m. in Tuscola County. A 47-year-old Caro man was hit while walking on M-24 near Caro.
