Woman dies after Gaines Township accident - ABC 12 – WJRT – Flint, MI

(07/20/12) - A 21-year-old Genesee County woman died Thursday afternoon after the car she was driving was broadsided at a busy intersection.

Gaines Township Police say Kaitlyn Taylor of Gaines was headed south on Elms Road and apparently missed the stop sign at the Hill Road intersection.

Her Dodge Neon was hit on the driver's door by a westbound pickup that was pulling a boat trailer.

Taylor was pronounced dead on arrival at Hurley Medical Center.

The driver of the truck was treated for minor injuries. A passenger in the truck was not hurt.

Officers from Mundy and Flint Townships also helped with the crash investigation.
